Beautiful red lacquered square tray, with gold trim for a luxurious feel. Showa retro! I believe it's over 50 years old, but in good condition. The gold trim is slightly peeling. I am from Fukui Prefecture, which is a production area for Kawada lacquerware. I don't know the details, but it belonged to my mother, who came from an old family.
