Wooden Yamanaka lacquerware, a beautiful black lacquered tsubo-wan (lidded bowl) and hirawan (flat bowl), each one (the tray is not included). These lacquerware bowls are from about 70 years ago, used when I held ceremonies at home. Size: Tsubo-wan: Diameter 9.7cm, Height 6.7cm Hirawan: Diameter 12cm, Height 5cm The tsubo-wan is a deep, small bowl, suitable for vinegared dishes and appetizers. The hirawan is a shallow bowl, and it seems that stewed dishes and grilled fish were served in it at the time, but it would also be good for serving rice dishes like chirashi sushi. Both bowls have a single character of the shop's name on the bottom and lid. As these are used items, there are small scratches as shown in the images, but they are items that allow you to feel the warmth of natural wood. Please understand that these are antique items and have been stored at home for a long time before purchasing.
