This is a Gibson-authorized, Japanese-made Les Paul. Like Fender Japan and Ibanez, it's made in Japan, a deep joint manufactured by Fujigen. The color is a rare Wine Red. Although not a "by Gibson," the original Japanese-made pickups have a high output and a rich, glossy sound. It's a fun guitar to play. While there are some slight dents and cracks in the escutcheon, it's in good condition for a guitar that's 30 years old. The electrical components and neck condition are also perfect.
