Adding the cheek pads slightly reduces wind noise and keeps the wind out, making it warmer. Used for about 2000km. There is some dirt from use of the inner lining, but it has been washed and there is no odor. The shell has some scratches, but I think it has a good worn-in feel. For display purposes.
