These are Volks-made, Katamura glass eyes, acquired about twenty years ago through an online auction. They are 20mm in size and the color is miruiro (seaweed green), with white iris lines. They are beautiful glass eyes with a deep, matcha-like green color. The backs are flattened, but there are some black spots and dirt that look like soot. In those days, there weren't as many ways to buy glass eyes as there are now, and especially the Zoukeimura (Volks) glass eyes were popular and difficult to obtain as rare items. Transactions of 20,000 or 30,000 yen were common, and I remember buying these for around 20,000 yen. I've only tried them on my dolls a couple of times and haven't actually used them for an extended period. There are no noticeable scratches or foreign objects, but please understand that these are used items that have been in at least two sets of hands.
