This is Ryugusha-ri stone, popular as a sacred object to wear. It is said to be from the "Ryugu Cave" in Thailand, a sacred cave where high-ranking monks have practiced. It is believed to be a sacred cave leading to the palace where the dragon god resides, and it is said that they visited it as the culmination of their training.
Ryugusha-ri is a particularly special type of sha-ri stone, and its excavation is prohibited. It is highly valued as a sacred spiritual stone, and is carefully preserved as a special item, such as being offered as a gift to the rosaries of Buddhist monks and temples in modern times.
