TALMA Old Saint Louis Crystal Talma Champagne Coupe Glasses, Pair of 2 I am offering for sale a pair of extremely rare champagne coupes from the Saint-Louis Talma, engraved with the 899 series, made around 1900. There are several other models named "TALMA" at Saint-Louis, but this is the Talma with the 899 engraving. It was listed in the official Saint-Louis catalog in 1908 and 1930. The deeply and firmly engraved Rococo decoration on the thin crystal is very elegant and looks beautiful just by being there. The acid etching, which is very similar to Baccarat's Louis XV model, goes well with Japanese tableware and lacquerware, and is popular in Japan, but champagne coupes are rare in the market and are a very rare item. I think it would be wonderful to use them as dessert dishes, serving fruits and other items.
