Usually, I think the rear seat is used facing backward or standing, but when they play for a long time, they get tired and want a backrest, or they always want to take a nap (lol). When folded, it's still possible to sit facing backward or stand without any problems. There is a small gap between the seat and the backrest, but the 2-Seater Next has a narrowed support for the lower belt fixing part, making it difficult for the belt to slip. Therefore, I have never had a child's bottom fall through, even after using it for a long time. When making it, I made the top buckle a little shorter, so the longest setting is a perfect fit. I don't think there will be a problem since you won't be loosening it, but I have discounted it accordingly!
