The pistons are smooth, and although there is a slight clicking sound, it's not noticeable during playing. I'm selling it because I haven't had much opportunity to use it. It has a good, jazzy sound with a low brass feel. Maintenance is easy, just wipe it down or rinse it with water. The mouthpiece has no engraving, but I'm including a retro mouthpiece that feels good in the mouth and makes it easy to hit high notes. There is no bell bend, but there are dents, so please check the images. The case has age-related scratches and dirt, but the hinges are in good condition and hold the trumpet securely.
