SONY Hi-8 video deck EV-BS3000 [Junk]. I purchased this item a few years ago on an auction site; it had been serviced, with belts etc. replaced. Upon checking before listing, the main unit's control panel is broken. For example, pressing the play button starts recording, and the stop button doesn't work. Operation with the included remote control and shuttle dial is normal. Currently, I don't have an SD-compatible monitor, so I checked the playback status by confirming that the image appears on a small DVCAM monitor that supports SD input. There are no tracking errors. This is a junk item. Please consider purchasing if you have the skills to repair it, or if you only need to operate it with the remote control.
