Steady Mode delivers a hard hit to the needle at a constant strength. The motor responds by sensing the resistance against the skin and always hitting with the same power. In Responsive Mode, 3 is the softest, and it gets harder in the order of 2 to 1. It's recommended to start with Mode 3 and change modes as you go through the procedure.
