This is a 7-disc limited edition Blu-ray box set featuring seven films by director Nagisa Oshima, who had a great influence on numerous world-renowned masters including Theo Angelopoulos, Bernardo Bertolucci, Martin Scorsese, Wim Wenders, and Takeshi Kitano. Five of the seven films are new 4K restored versions from the original negatives. The other two films also have good picture quality. The domestic box set released in the spring does not include "Death by Hanging" and does not mention 4K restoration. This is an imported UK version, but it can be played on domestic playback devices (confirmed). English subtitles are available, but they can be turned off.
