This is a Shinto horse figurine (Shinme) from Obata clay dolls. Made by Bunzo Hosoi. It is modeled after the sacred horse of the Taga Taisha Shrine festival. The color scheme and the face are very cute. -- This is an old piece, so it is being sold with some scratches and stains. There is some deterioration due to age.
