This is a gorgeous, floral kimono for Shichi-Go-San (the traditional Japanese celebration for children aged three, five, and seven), featuring cherry blossom decorations. My grandchild wore it only once. Because the child really disliked wearing it, the photos and the shrine visit were done on the same day. Except for the sleeveless vest (hifu), it has been washed. Upon close inspection, there is an inconspicuous stain on the flowers of the hifu. Also, for some reason, the zori (sandals) are missing.
