Available for immediate purchase No price reduction TOKAI HLS145 This is a Les Paul type guitar, a shop order from Hibiki Corporation, a Tokai Gakki Super Shop. Made in 2012, the color is Violin Finish. It has a distinctive truss rod cover shape different from the standard LS series, and a pickguard was an optional add-on, so it is not installed. (Pickguard is not included) Due to being a shop order, it is positioned in a higher grade with a small production number. It features a neck angle and body arch similar to the original 1950s vintage guitars, a plain maple 2-piece top, a mahogany 2-piece back, a mahogany one-piece deep joint neck with a rare "Madagascar Rosewood" fingerboard, and pickups "The Fifty Nine" newly developed for the HLS series, selected and developed from Tokai Gakki's PAFs. The finish is also ultra-thin urethane, offering amazing cost performance even at the time of sale. Especially, Madagascar Rosewood is a rare wood second only to Brazilian Rosewood, and is said to have a low-center-of-gravity, tenacious sound. Although this guitar has a plain top, faint tiger stripes can be seen in places depending on the viewing angle, making it beautiful. I often hung it on the wall and gazed at it while drinking. I am reluctantly letting it go to organize my collection. There are some signs of use, such as minor scratches and dents on the neck side and back of the body, but there are no noticeable scratches on the headstock apex, body top, or edges. The truss rod has room to spare, and the fret life remaining is about 80%. The weight is approximately 4.5kg according to a health meter, making it a substantial Les Paul-like guitar. The front volume pot has been replaced, and there is no noise. The switch and tone controls also work without any problems. It will be shipped in an aftermarket gig bag.
