I hadn't used it for a while, so the screen was blank, but I confirmed it works with solar power in the sun. There is no box or instruction manual. This is an auction for the watch only. You can find the instructions on Casio's website for setting the time, etc. I didn't use it often, so there are no noticeable major scratches, but there are minor scuffs and dirt on the back of the watch. It looks like the dirt might come off if you peel off a sticker. Also, after you put the watch band around your wrist, you can fasten it by inserting it into the adjustment hole, but please understand that the band to secure the end is missing before you purchase. No price reduction is possible.
