Founded in 1466 (Bunsho 1), "Koami Shrine" is revered as the "God of Strong Luck and Evil Ward" because the buildings within the shrine grounds were spared from the air raids during the Great Tokyo Air Raid, and all the soldiers who went to war with the shrine's amulet during the Greater East Asia War returned safely.
