The hood also does not have an adjustment cord, and the collar is set to just below the chin to reduce stress from flapping in the wind when the zip is open. The material is 100% polyester triple dry. It uses a three-dimensional structure with water-repellent yarn on the skin side and water-absorbing yarn on the outside, keeping the skin dry at all times and reducing stickiness. In addition, sweat is quickly absorbed and diffused by the outer yarn. The inside prevents the fabric from sticking to the skin, creating a layer of air that also prevents chills from sweat. While a zipperless option is certainly possible if you prioritize lightweight and compactness, we opted for a half-zip to improve ventilation efficiency during hikes.
