This is a signature model by jazz legend Herb Ellis. I received it from a friend about 10 years ago, so the purchase date is unknown, but according to the serial number (image 10, with a star), it was produced in the Memphis factory in 2001. Overall, I think it's in good condition, but there is some "dulling of the metal parts" and "scratches" due to aging, and there is also a scar on the neck (image 12) that looks like I repaired the paint myself. I was just an "accompanist" in a Hawaiian band, strumming chords during indoor practice, so I used it "acoustically." On this occasion, I connected it to an amplifier only once, but it was an old Fender amplifier, so I don't know if it sounded like it did when it was new.
