This is a shippari kama (pot with a flared base) and furo kama (tea ceremony pot for a brazier) made by Masamitsu Kikuchi. It was purchased new in December 1978 at the Ginza Matsuya department store for 26,000 yen. This furo kama has been used frequently and has also been left unused for about a year, so there is some rust inside. It can still be used if the rust is removed. The kamakan (pot ring) is not included.
