This is a Nambu ironware Tetsubin (iron kettle) made by IWACHU, a long-established casting manufacturer in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. The traditional Arare (hailstone) pattern is beautiful, and the calm black and gold color gives it a sense of age and quality. It is a fine piece that can be used as a tea utensil, or as a display item, showcasing Japanese craftsmanship. Size: Approximately 14cm wide x 11cm high (excluding handle) "IWACHU" stamp on the bottom. The handle is fixed, and the lid knob is original. There is rust inside, and some paint is peeling off on the outside, but there are no cracks or chips, and it is in solid condition for an old Tetsubin. It will be delivered as is. Offered for sale to organize my collection. The color may look slightly different depending on the photography environment and the device you are using. Please purchase if you understand that this is an antique/used item. [Notes] Please note that the item may be sold out as it is also being sold through other channels. It will be shipped in reused packaging. Please check my profile before purchasing. International buyers are welcome. Worldwide shipping available.
