(In other words, if the front of the ink is considered correct, the mold for the back of the ink seems to have been inserted upside down.) The other defect is that the remaining stock has a chip on one side of the bottom (Photos 6 and 7). There is no problem on the other side of the bottom, so it will have little effect on grinding, but we will further reduce the price. This is also likely due to the incorrect mold insertion... It's an old ink from over 30 years ago, and I think it's a good ink. It was a registered trademark (which costs quite a bit), so I think it was an ink that was sold for a long time by Eijudo. It's a calm, deep black ink, a black-brown oil soot ink for light ink, but I think it's probably rapeseed oil soot ink. It also produces gradations, so it's good for ink painting. I think it's good for kana that you want to write smoothly, ink paintings where you want to express three-dimensionality, depth, and expression, and kanji that you want to make deep black. Wadasueido (a famous ink shop of Suzuka ink that has already closed) was an ink maker where Wada Jin, also known as Wada Jin, the ink artisan, was loved by the masters of painting. Wada Jin's customers included famous painters such as Gyokudo Kawai, Kokei Kobayashi, Taikan Yokoyama, and Seiho Takeuchi. The front of the ink is engraved with "Wada", and the back of the ink says "Made by the secret method of Mr. Daigen, using lacquer from Tangshan, and supervised by Eijudo".
