This amulet is made from the old wood (Taiwan cypress) of the former South Approach Torii gate, which protected the sacred grounds of Meiji Jingu Shrine. The design for the year 2026 is modeled after the design of the decorative horizontal beams (nageshi) of the Meiji Jingu Shrine's main hall.
