This is a square seal made of carved lacquer (tsuishu). The characters carved into it are unreadable, though the character "藏" (zō/store) is discernible. It is inscribed with "大清乾隆年製" (Made in the Qianlong era of the Great Qing Dynasty) (Figures 1 and 5) and decorated with gold leaf. This piece exudes the style of royalty. While the photos show what appear to be cracks, these are not present on the actual item, which is in excellent condition.
