This is a ceramic sake cup, measuring 8.6cm in diameter and 5cm in height. This piece is by Tomoo Hamada, the third-generation potter of the Hamada kiln, grandson of the world-renowned ceramic artist and Living National Treasure Shoji Hamada, and son of Shinsaku. I purchased this in Mashiko, but unfortunately, one of a pair was broken. The title of the work indicates a pair, so I've decided not to separate them. I'm offering this piece, considering the broken one as a candidate for kintsugi repair, to someone who understands. Thank you.
