I bought this about two years ago and used it attached to the harness of my backpack when hiking. It fit on backpacks from 20 to 80 liters. I also have a Peak Design one, but this one is easier to attach and detach with one touch, and the sliding action is better, so I used this one all the time. Therefore, it has scratches, and the locking mechanism is loose. I replaced it because I was worried about using it with equipment weighing over 2 kilograms. I've never had it come off when attached properly, but please consider it as junk. Sometimes people complain about scratches after buying used items, so please check the photos and understand the above before purchasing.
