Chick Corea, a popular pianist who has been at the forefront of the music scene for 30 years since graduating from the Miles Group. While he has a pop and contemporary quality, in the 90s he formed Origin with talented young musicians, playing a somewhat hardcore jazz. This album was recorded as a trio, leaving only the bass and drums from that large combo. As the title suggests, it's a very dense trio that sums up Chick's 30 years of diverse musicality. It's a trio that's easy to listen to and satisfying, wrapping the musicality that would impress connoisseurs in the pop sensibility he showed in his former popular combo, "Return to Forever."
