Mitsuboshi Old Shin Men, Made in Kuji, Iwate Prefecture This is an old, Japanese-made Mitsuboshi men (face protector). It's a "Shin" (heart) style bogu (armor) made with navy blue leather. It's completely different from the "Shin" currently sold, which was made in Kuji, Iwate Prefecture. There's been some repair with navy blue leather on the head portion, and the men-buton (face padding) has been cut to 18 cm. 68-69 cm There are some minor scuffs and tears, but there's not much noticeable damage, and I think it can still be used.
