Normally, the key can only be removed when it's in the locked position, which is quite a hassle! You need to insert the key to open the box, and you can't remove the key unless it's in the locked position after closing the lid. Therefore, it has been modified so that the key can be removed even when unlocked. Recommended for those who open and close the case frequently or find locking it troublesome. Of course, you can still lock it as usual and remove the key. In short, the key can be removed regardless of the lock or unlock position (this is not possible with the standard GIVI).
