I found this abacus during a decluttering session at my parents' house. It's been stored for a long time. I asked my family about it, but no one knows how many decades it's been around, and the box is quite dirty. The part of the box that closes is torn. The abacus still has the price tag on it, so it appears to be unused. There are some brown spots on the edges inside (photos 7-10). I tried blowing on them, thinking it was dust, but it didn't come off, so it seems to be dirt. (It's unclear if it's dirt or the wood grain, but it looks like dirt). It's an abacus with 5 beads on the bottom. 15 digits. It appears to be made of wood, and it has a wooden smell, but the material is unknown. It's approximately 30cm wide, 10cm long, and 2.5cm high. When viewed from the side, it's slightly higher in the middle, like a mountain (photo 17). Photos 18 and 19 were taken indoors at night. It looks brown indoors at night, but photos 1-17 were taken during the day near a window and appear whiter. The last photo shows a noticeable scratch on the back. There are also other small scratches and scuffs. This item has been stored for a long time, so please understand that the box is in poor condition before purchasing. I've marked it as "used with scratches and dirt" because the box is dirty, but the abacus itself is only concerning due to the spots inside. It will be shipped via courier service.
