The side knit creates a striped pattern. It feels clean and cool. Very lovely. For those with a good sense of style. It's been sitting around since I tried it on... Decluttering. The tag under the collar (inside) came off, but the mark is there, it's not a scratch (can be seen in the 5th photo). I don't think it affects wear, but please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to this. Great deal!
