It's a light and glossy fabric. While many Meisen fabrics have a unique texture, this one is in good condition, possibly because it was unused, with no fabric deterioration. The beautiful purple color with a yamabuki-iro (yellow-orange) well-frame pattern looks like fireflies or snow from a distance, making it very pretty. It seems to fit well with temple and shrine visits or walks through old townscapes.
