This is a Nerikomi (layered clay) vase by ceramic artist Kazuo Ogata. He was a ceramic artist from Iwamizawa City, who spent his life creating art based in Hokkaido. He is a popular ceramic artist known for his unique Nerikomi patterns. There are no noticeable scratches, but there are some deposits on the foot of the vase that appear to have occurred during firing (likely glaze or ash). This item has been stored at home, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item or are overly sensitive. There is no box.
