I purchased it about 10 years ago at a vintage clothing store in Koenji. The store clerk told me that the combination of an ALPHA-stamped zipper on the front and an IDEAL-made cigarette pocket on the sleeve, which is unique to the transitional period, is a rare find. The tag reads "MADE IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE, U.S.A.", and the absence of a sleeve tag indicates military specification compliance. The nylon texture, long ribs, and the thickness of the padding are authentic qualities that cannot be replicated in current reissues. This is a piece that symbolizes Alpha during the USA production period and is highly valued by collectors. The condition has a vintage feel appropriate for its age (see photos for details).
