This is a set-up I often wore in the winter. It's a washable knit, so I've washed it several times. There are no holes, but there is some pilling. I think it can be removed with a fabric shaver, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I purchased it from the official Re:EDIT store. I am a non-smoker.
