The stone pattern appears like two lines meandering from the sea towards the foot of a hill, beautifully undulating in a way characteristic of Amehata stone, with mottled stone patterns around the edges. On the underside of the inkstone, a light brown stone pattern appears, making it a unique item. Also, the inner edge is finished so sharply that it feels like it could cut you when you touch it with your fingertip, demonstrating the high skill of the inkstone maker. On the upper side of the rim, a straight key design is engraved, adding to its elegance. Furthermore, the underside of the inkstone has been hollowed out with care, and the characters [Amehata] are deeply and confidently engraved in a dignified typeface.
