【Serviced/Ready to Play】Epiphone Les Paul (Originally Ultra II / Quilt / Passive Wiring) Originally, there was a Shadow nanoMAG (fingerboard end PU) installed in the Ultra II, but it has now been changed to the same passive wiring as a typical Les Paul. 【✅Modifications/Servicing】 ・Changed from active to passive wiring ・Epiphone original PU: 57CH (front) / HOTCH (rear) ・Wiring: 2-core (coil tap not possible) ・Capacitor: Montreux Orange Drop 0.022µF ・Tuners: Replaced with black ones (believed to be GOTOH / original holes touched up) ・Jack hole was widened, so a jack plate was made from PVC board (strong) ・Metal escutcheons (slight resonance with acoustic sound / does not resonate through amp) ・Small crack on the lower left of the front escutcheon (no problem for use) ・Pickguard removed (sunburn difference only in that area / included) 【✅Playing Condition】 ・Truss rod operation confirmed 90° left and right ・String height: 1st fret 1st string approx. 1.5mm / 6th string approx. 2.0mm ・Neck almost straight / good sound in all positions ・Strings replaced with Elixir Optiweb 10-46 (ready to use) 【✅Sound】 The sound has the thickness of a Les Paul, plus good clarity. Even compared to my Les Paul equipped with SH-6 (Duncan Distortion), it can handle high gain without being inferior. The appearance is heavy, but the sound is high-pitched and easy to handle. Honestly, I don't want to sell it (lol) 【✅Appearance】 ・The quilt maple top is very beautiful ・Repaired scratches on the back (see photos) ・Previous owner matte finished the headstock and neck area → The gloss is naturally returning with use (not noticeable) 【✅Accessories】 ・Original pickguard ・New PlayTech soft gig bag (included for transportation) ※Also listed on other sites.
