The linen yarn has been given a special, ultra-high twist, and further processed with Omi-zarashi (a traditional Japanese bleaching and finishing technique), creating a very fine crinkle and uneven texture on the fabric. There is only one factory left in Japan that can apply this special twist to the yarn. Due to this unevenness, the fabric feels cool as it has very little contact with the skin. The appearance of the fine wrinkles also complements the linen very well. Woven carefully and meticulously at a domestic mill, and subjected to special kneading to remove the characteristic scratchiness of linen, this fabric has been finished with a soft and smooth texture. We are particular about the fabric specifications and processing, and the finished texture has been well-received. The yarn uses 100% raw materials from Belgium, France, and the Netherlands (Flanders region). All items on sale are basically one-of-a-kind fabrics that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Therefore, they will be discontinued once they are gone. *We recommend washing the fabric once before cutting, taking into account some shrinkage.
