This is an old summer komon (casual kimono). At first glance, I thought it was a leopard print. But upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a black iris pattern. The base color is light blue, making it quite eye-catching. It has a very unique atmosphere. The vertical stripes are created by the weave of the fabric, not the pattern itself. There is little wear and tear on the fabric. The fabric is somewhat sheer, allowing you to faintly see the outline of your hand. (The striped areas are more tightly woven and do not allow light through.) There are some stains here and there, but they are not very noticeable due to the color and pattern. There is a stain on the back of the collar. This is a rare and impactful piece. Please consider this item as an antique, with some minor imperfections and stains.
