This piece is made by connecting antique indigo-dyed cotton fabrics (katazome, kasuri, stripes, etc.), with antique safflower-dyed cotton as accent colors. A single layer of cotton is sandwiched in between, and the three layers are then joined together with orange circular sashiko stitching on the reverse side, which features antique cotton kasuri. *Sizes: Long, narrow mat approximately 68x16cm; Mini-mini mat approximately 16x15cm.
