This is a set of nickel Schaller tuners with the "Norlin logo" found on 1970s vintage Gibson guitars. This is a rare item, as it was only used by Gibson for a short period. This set was removed from my 1977 Gibson Les Paul '55 (a replica of the Les Paul Special at the time) from the Norlin era. The Gibson logo and Norlin mark are stamped on the tuners, and the chassis is stamped "Made in W. Germany" by Schaller (see photo 5). The original 12 mounting screws and 6 large-type peg bushings are included. One of the peg bushings (refer to the leftmost one in photo 4) is slightly longer, but the reason is unknown, and it was installed normally. Regarding the condition, I used the above vintage guitar with the original tuners for several years, and of course, they functioned as normal tuners. However, there was, of course, some variation in stiffness and stiffness, and I decided to replace them with new tuners. In my subjective opinion, they were neither too loose nor too tight, and the shafts were not bent to a noticeable degree, so those accustomed to vintage instruments probably wouldn't mind. However, I would like to point out that I replaced them with new tuners because I was seeking "comfort" when using the vintage guitar frequently. Players who use their instruments heavily in live performances and are particular about such things may be concerned, so please refrain from purchasing if you have any concerns. The atmosphere that vintage gear exudes cannot be replicated by relicing, and the screws and bushings are all present, so I believe this is a good item for those who understand. Everything in the photos is included. Please understand that this is a used vintage item, and no claims or returns are accepted. I am very sorry, but I cannot offer a discount.
