The clock was made with the visual in mind, as if driftwood is growing from the bottom. Although the teak wood is used on the back, it gives the clock a dignified overall appearance. The entire clock is coated with clear urethane varnish for surface protection. Uses one AA battery. Silent movement, with no ticking sound. Please set the time using the knob on the back.
