Reference from the internet ↓↓↓ This is a large tea jar from the Meiji era, Shigaraki ware, called a sudare jar because the streaks of the poured glaze look like a bamboo blind (sudare). It's about 49cm tall and has a strong presence. It would also suit a modern Japanese interior! It would look good in the entrance or in a room. It would also be good as an umbrella stand, or it might be lovely to put flowers in! The green striped pattern has a retro feel and is recommended. This is a large, aged jar that has been stored at home. Please only bid if you understand the item as-is and the description!
