A hair comb decorated with floral and leaf patterns on a red background. This is a moderately sized lacquered comb. It has the inscription "Kotobune" (寿舟). On the red base, there are two fan-shaped panels, each with a gold-lacquered peony flower design. The centers of the peony flowers are subtly inlaid with mother-of-pearl. There is a leaf pattern on the back. Purchased from a vintage select shop and stored unused. It is not new, but it is in almost unused, undamaged condition.
