I bought this last year and used to dress my child in it for formal occasions. It's a front-opening romper, so I think it's easy to put on. The fabric feels like a cross between a T-shirt and a sweatshirt, soft and stretchy. The bow tie is the type that fastens with a button. There's a button under the collar, so even if you forget to attach it, it won't be noticeable. There are no stains on the collar. The tag was on the outside of the collar, so I cut it off with scissors. The front looks like a vest, but the back is white (see photo 6). When I bought it, I wondered if the white back would bother me, but when we went out, I either carried my child in a baby carrier or used a stroller, so the back wasn't visible, and it didn't bother me.
