Thank you for viewing. This is a 5-sun plate by Yasutoshi Sakanishi of Yasutoshi Kiln, who creates pottery in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. It has been stored at home after purchase. There are some scratches like the one in the third photo. Overall, it is in good condition. Mr. Sakanishi apprenticed to and studied under Toshihiko Shimizu of Tamba Tachikui ware in 1995. In 2001, he built a kiln at his home in Amagasaki and named it "Yasutoshi Kiln." He specializes in the *shinogi* technique inherited from his teacher and creates tableware, focusing on "vessels that can be used comfortably every day."
