Set of 3 Autumn Zen Phrase Tanzaku (Handwritten Works) This is a set of 3 tea ceremony tanzaku featuring "Ginpu Ichiyo no Matsu," "Kakusei Aki o Sara ni Takamu," and "Banri Henunashi." All of these are seasonal Zen phrases that will beautifully adorn the tea room and tokonoma in autumn. Please take this opportunity to use them as hanging scrolls for changing during tea ceremonies and lessons. 【Condition and Storage of the Works】 ・These are works I wrote previously. They are one-of-a-kind. ・After creation, they were carefully stored in a dark place to prevent damage to the calligraphy. There is no sun damage, folding, or noticeable stains. ・They are in the form of tanzaku, which are easy to change. 【Meaning of Each Zen Phrase (Spirit of the Autumn Tea Ceremony)】 ● Ginpu Ichiyo no Matsu (The Wind Whispers Through the Pines) Meaning: The sound of the wind blowing through the pine forest, swaying the leaves, echoes as pure as if reciting a poem. Tea Ceremony Meaning: It symbolizes becoming one with nature, clearing the mind with its refreshing melody, and a state free from distractions. ● Kakusei Aki o Sara ni Takamu (Crane's Call, Autumn's Height) Meaning: The cry of the crane, a symbol of longevity, echoes even higher in the clear autumn sky. Tea Ceremony Meaning: It represents the purity and auspiciousness (good fortune) of the serene autumn sky. It also suggests that one's state of mind is further elevated through training and diligence. ● Banri Henunashi (No Cloud in Ten Thousand Miles) Meaning: The vast sky as far as the eye can see is clear and cloudless. Tea Ceremony Meaning: It signifies a state of enlightenment that is pure and vast, free from the confusion and earthly desires (clouds) within the heart.
