A set of natural whetstones from Kyoto, Japan: soft, medium-hard, and hard. A soft whetstone of the red pin type. A medium-hard Suita with a bit of lotus flower pattern. A slightly harder Aosui (blue Suita). Please take a close look at the images for the size. Some areas of the whetstone surfaces are rough. They should be able to sharpen chisels, small planes, and other small blades without any problems. Due to their irregular shapes, they have been secured to wooden boards with protective measures.
