XM Yachting began in 1977 when two sailors started making their own products in their shop in East Sussex, a high-class marine resort town with an old castle in southern England. Born and bred in the UK, the home of yachting where many sailors have a discerning eye for sailing gear, the XM brand has a history of over 40 years. In recent years, the brand has become known not only to European sailors but also domestically in Japan.
