This is a set of five Kutani-yaki sake cups from the old days. These were gifts that I never used, and have been stored at home for a long time. I think each one is unique and lovely, with the distinctive color scheme and use of red and gold characteristic of Ko-Kutani ware. I believe these would also make a wonderful gift for someone overseas.
